St John's Church
Newhall
The Grade II listed St. John’s Church was built in around 1833 in the Gothic style, and comprises a simple aisless nave with a short tower, constructed from local red brick. The current chancel, vestry and organ were added to the East end of the original church in several phases during the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, incorporating decorative moulded and carved sandstone elements including a four pointed arched tracery East window.
